“Who Did They Fix The Game For?” “Worst Ref In The Game”: Fans Mock NFL Over Latest Referee Decision Following Controversial Packers- Lions Game

The NFL quietly moved referee Alex Moore’s crew out of Sunday Night Football after the controversial Packers- Lions game — and fans are mocking the league for it.

Moore’s crew was originally scheduled for Eagles- Commanders on SNF. After a rough day in Detroit in Green Bay’s 20-17 loss to Detroit — two roughing-the-passer flags, plus unnecessary roughness on Devonte Wyatt tackling Amon-Ra St. Brown and illegal hit on defenseless player by Derrick Barnes on Marshawn Lloyd (calls Tom Brady questioned on FOX) — the league reassigned them to Patriots-Dolphins at 4:25pm. Shawn Hochuli’s crew now gets Eagles- Commanders.

Per Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk, move was driven more by optics than discipline — keeping Moore away from Tirico/Collinsworth on NBC in prime time after Xavier McKinney’s rant that got him fined $25K+ minimum.

Fans rushed comments after PFT shared news Oct 30:
“Who did they fix the game for?”
“Worst ref in the game. Addicted to tossing flags and taking over games.”
“Green bag got screwed last week”
“A paid vacation the boys did their job for Vegas”
“The entire game needed to be flexed out”

NFL has not explained switch, but timing only adds to officiating debate.
