On July 8, Tennessee shared a promotional video across its social media platforms showcasing the Summitt Blue uniforms across several women’s athletic programs. The campaign, themed “Into the Blue,” features Lady Vols athletes from basketball, softball, volleyball, and soccer wearing the new designs.
The distinctive Summitt Blue color pays tribute to legendary Lady Vols head coach Pat Summitt, celebrating her lasting influence on Tennessee athletics.
The newly revealed uniforms join the previously unveiled orange and white editions. Each design incorporates a refreshed number font that blends Tennessee’s traditional block lettering with a more contemporary look.
The uniform launch is part of Tennessee’s new 10-year agreement with Adidas, a landmark partnership expected to establish the university as one of the brand’s flagship collegiate programs while strengthening the Vols’ Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) initiatives. The agreement also brings an end to Tennessee’s 11-year partnership with Nike.
Beginning July 1, Adidas officially resumed its role as Tennessee’s provider of footwear, uniforms, apparel, and sideline gear. The company previously outfitted the Volunteers from 1995 through 2015 before returning for the new decade-long partnership.
