Detroit Lions star Jahmyr Gibbs is making his mark away from the football field as well.
The Pro Bowl running back recently revealed a new venture that gives fans a different look at what he has been working on outside of football.
Gibbs has launched his own clothing brand, ShopJah, and announced the release of his first official T-shirt.
The Lions running back shared the news with his followers on social media, announcing that his first shirt was officially available.
The debut design is a black long-sleeve shirt available in sizes small through 2XL. The brand’s website also features another design created in collaboration with Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown.
That collaboration has a particularly Detroit connection. The design was inspired by the superhero-themed celebration Gibbs and St. Brown have used after making plays together.
The shirts were initially offered through pre-orders, with the company indicating that orders would ship roughly two to three weeks after purchase.
For Gibbs, the move represents another step in building something beyond his football career.
Gibbs Has Plenty Going On On the Field, Too
The timing of the announcement comes while Gibbs continues to establish himself as one of the NFL’s most dangerous offensive weapons.
Detroit selected Gibbs 12th overall in the 2023 NFL Draft, and he has quickly become one of the central pieces of the Lions’ offense.
The team also made its commitment to him clear this offseason, signing Gibbs to a contract extension that keeps him in Detroit through the 2030 season. The Lions announced the extension in August.
Through his first three seasons, Gibbs accumulated more than 5,000 scrimmage yards and 49 scrimmage touchdowns while earning Pro Bowl honors in each of those seasons.
And his 2026 season has continued to add to that résumé.
Gibbs scored a touchdown in Detroit’s Week 4 loss to the Carolina Panthers, finishing the game with 46 rushing yards on 15 carries and another 31 receiving yards.
But this latest announcement has nothing to do with his production on Sundays.
Instead, Gibbs is showing that his ambitions extend beyond football.
With his new clothing venture, the Lions star is beginning to build a personal brand that could follow him well beyond his playing career.
For a player who has already established himself as one of Detroit’s biggest young stars, this could be just the beginning of what Gibbs does away from the field.
