West Virginia Trashed Little Rock 90-58…

West Virginia extended its perfect home record on Tuesday night with a dominant 90–58 win over Little Rock inside the Hope Coliseum. The victory improves the Mountaineers to 8–3 overall, with all eight wins coming on their home floor.

The Mountaineers opened the game with a starting lineup featuring Jasper Floyd at point guard, Honor Huff and Treysen Eaglestaff on the wings, Brenen Lorient at forward, and Harlan Obioha anchoring the paint. The group set the tone early, establishing control within the opening minutes.

Huff delivered a standout performance, scoring a team-high 24 points while knocking down eight three-pointers for the second time this season—just one shy of the school record. Eaglestaff added 23 points and connected on five threes of his own, while forward Chance Moore contributed 12 points and six rebounds off the bench. As a team, West Virginia shot an efficient 15-of-30 from beyond the arc.

The Mountaineers wasted no time building momentum. Eaglestaff opened the scoring with a three-pointer, followed by four quick points from Obioha to establish a 7–2 advantage. Reserve guard Amir Jenkins provided a spark with five straight points, and a steal-and-dunk sequence from Moore stretched the lead to 18–4, prompting an early Little Rock timeout. Three consecutive threes by Huff helped push the margin to 33–11 with just over seven minutes left in the half.

Huff continued to pace the offense, drilling his fourth triple of the half to extend the lead to 36–14 before the Trojans momentarily responded. Additional threes from Huff and Eaglestaff built the advantage to 44–21, and West Virginia entered halftime ahead 47–23 behind Huff’s 15 first-half points.

The Mountaineers maintained full control throughout the second half, quickly moving ahead 54–27 and never allowing the Trojans to cut meaningfully into the deficit. Holding a 63–33 lead with just over 12 minutes remaining, West Virginia comfortably closed out the contest to secure its eighth win of the season and continue its unbeaten run at home.
