Jameson Williams Gets Major Week 5 Fantasy Boost Ahead of Cardinals Matchup
Detroit Lions wide receiver Jameson Williams is getting some serious attention heading into Week 5.
Sports Illustrated fantasy analyst Michael Fabiano has Williams among his recommended wide receivers to start this week, pointing to his matchup against the Arizona Cardinals as a favorable opportunity for another strong performance.
Williams finally delivered the type of breakout performance Lions fans had been waiting for in Week 4. Against the Carolina Panthers, he caught six passes for 102 yards and finished with 16.2 fantasy points.
Now, he gets another promising matchup.
Arizona has allowed the fifth-most fantasy points to wide receivers through the opening four weeks, while the projected total for the Lions-Cardinals matchup sits in the mid-50s. That suggests another potentially high-scoring game for Detroit’s offense.
Williams could benefit significantly if the game develops into the shootout many expect.
The Lions receiver has already shown his big-play ability, and after breaking out against Carolina, another productive outing could help establish more consistency in his 2026 season.
With Detroit looking to bounce back from its disappointing loss to Carolina, Williams could be one of the offensive players to watch closely Sunday.
