West Virginia Secures Commitment from 2026 Wide Receiver Jeffar Jean-Noel

Morgantown, WV – The West Virginia Mountaineers added another promising prospect to their 2026 recruiting class late Saturday night, securing a commitment from talented wide receiver Jeffar Jean-Noel.

Jean-Noel, a 5’10”, 180-pound playmaker from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, is regarded as one of the most underrated offensive players in his class. Despite flying under the radar, he has already received offers from several top programs, including Miami, Michigan, Kentucky, Washington, Wisconsin, and Louisville.

His commitment comes after a weekend visit to Morgantown, where he was reportedly impressed with the program, coaching staff, and overall atmosphere. Jean-Noel became the second player to pledge to the Mountaineers on Saturday, following three-star tight end Sam Hamilton from Cincinnati, Ohio.

Though Jean-Noel has yet to receive an official rating from major recruiting services, many analysts expect him to rise in the rankings as he continues to showcase his abilities. As a sophomore at American Heritage High School, he recorded 34 receptions for 505 yards and five touchdowns, proving himself as a reliable offensive weapon.

His speed, agility, and route-running ability make him a valuable addition to West Virginia’s future receiving corps. The Mountaineers’ coaching staff sees significant potential in Jean-Noel and believes he can make a strong impact at the collegiate level.

With commitments from Hamilton and Jean-Noel, West Virginia’s 2026 recruiting class is beginning to take shape. According to 247Sports and Rivals, the Mountaineers currently hold the No. 64 ranking nationally, a number that could improve as more recruits join the class.

Rich Rodriguez and his staff have been active in hosting recruits this weekend, and additional commitments could be on the way. The program is working diligently to build a strong foundation for the future.
