Texas A&M’s Top Rusher Le’Veon Moss Out for Season with Leg Injury; Amari Daniels to Take on Lead Role

Le’Veon Moss, the top rusher for Texas A&M, sustained a leg injury that will end his season during the Aggies’ 44-20 defeat to South Carolina. Moss had accumulated 765 yards and 10 touchdowns this year. Amari Daniels, who has split carries with Moss, is set to assume a larger role; Daniels ran for 83 yards on 13 attempts, including a 56-yard gain, in the loss to South Carolina. Daniels and EJ Smith are now the only available scholarship running backs. Texas A&M (7-2, 5-1 SEC) is on a bye week before facing New Mexico State on Nov. 16, followed by matchups against Auburn and Texas.
