In August 2021, Alan Leach (drummer) and Joe Johnson (guitarist and keyboardist), founding members of the indie band Shed Seven, announced they would be taking an indefinite hiatus from the group for personal reasons. The band expressed their gratitude to Leach and Johnson for their years of contribution, confirming that the two would remain close friends. Shed Seven also revealed that “Maxi” and Tim Wills would be joining the lineup for their forthcoming tour.
