Former West Virginia star running back Noel Devine is returning to the Mountaineer family, this time in a coaching role. According to reports from Football Scoop and Matt Zenitz, Devine is set to join head coach Rich Rodriguez’s staff as an offensive analyst.

Devine, 36, is a West Virginia football icon and one of the most electrifying players in the program’s history. During his time with the Mountaineers from 2007 to 2010, Devine

amassed 4,315 rushing yards, making him the third all-time leading rusher for the school. He also scored 29 touchdowns, ranking sixth all-time, and still holds WVU’s record for all-purpose yards with 5,761.
