Ravens Safety Kyle Hamilton Exits with Ankle Injury, Expected to Miss Limited Time

Baltimore Ravens strong safety Kyle Hamilton was forced to leave Thursday night’s victory over the Cincinnati Bengals early due to an ankle injury. However, the injury is not expected to keep him sidelined for an extended period.

Ravens head coach John Harbaugh provided an update after the game, noting that the injury is not serious. “It’s not a serious ankle,” Harbaugh said, according to the team’s official website. “I don’t know how long it will be, but it’s an ankle sprain.”

While there has been little additional information regarding Hamilton’s status, NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport shared a brief update on social media the following day. While details remain limited, the injury appears to be relatively mild, offering a positive outlook for Hamilton’s recovery.

Given the timing of the injury, Hamilton is considered doubtful for Sunday’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. However, his absence may not extend beyond that, and the Ravens will need him as the season progresses. Hamilton plays a crucial role in the Ravens’ defense, often serving as a versatile “Swiss army knife” by lining up at multiple positions.
