The NBA season of 2022–2023 will have several highly interesting teams to watch, including the Minnesota Timberwolves.
They finished 46-36 the previous season and qualified for the NBA Playoffs for the first time since 2018.
They completed a blockbuster trade for All-Star center Rudy Gobert during the offseason.
They will therefore be among the competitors in the Western Conference.
They apparently added a new member to the roster on Saturday.
Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports that P.J. Dozier will be joining the Timberwolves.
Over the course of five NBA seasons, Dozier has played for the Denver Nuggets, Oklahoma City Thunder, and Boston Celtics.
He has most recently played for the Nuggets for the past three seasons.
During the previous season, he participated in 18 games and averaged 5.4 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game.
Unfortunately, during the start of the 2021–22 season, he tore his ACL in his left knee.
Throughout his career, he has played in 105 regular season games and averaged 6.4 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game.
In 12 NBA Playoff games, he has also participated.
The Timberwolves currently have 20 players under contract as they head into training camp, according to Blue Wire’s Dane Moore.
The Timberwolves will take on the Thunder at home on October 19 to kick off the 2022–23 season.
