The announcement of Noel and Liam Gallagher’s reunion for next year’s Oasis world tour has sparked widespread speculation about the possibility of the iconic Manchester band working on new music.
Since the reunion was revealed last September, Liam has addressed fan inquiries regarding a potential new Oasis album. Known for his candid nature, the 52-year-old frontman confirmed that the band has already completed new material.
“Yes, (the new album material) has been completed,” Liam stated in September, according to NME, on Tuesday, November 19.
In early November, Liam hinted at the prospect of a new album via his X (formerly Twitter) account, expressing admiration for the material Noel has written. Although his tweet was not an official announcement, Liam has a history of teasing developments before they are officially confirmed, as he did with the Oasis reunion tour.
