With so many players out sick on Monday night, it seems that Leeds was up against more than simply Middlesbrough.
Junior Firpo, a standout defender, disclosed that he was one of the players who persevered despite being sick against Boro.
“I’ve been with a fever [for] three days, I’ve been ill today, a few lads were feeling the same, we have a little bit illness in the squad,” he stated in an interview with the Yorkshire Evening Post.
Since everyone was prepared, this demonstrates how crucial it is to be ready.
“Everyone, including myself and the ailing Jaidon Anthony, was living everything.”
As I mentioned earlier, I was on the verge of passing out during the second half along with a few other fellas. It was difficult.
