Kendrick Perkins gives the Milwaukee Bucks a harsh reality check.

Over the past several weeks, the Milwaukee Bucks have been under fire for trading veteran guard Jrue Holiday to acquire All-Star Damian Lillard. Given that the starting Boston Celtics player for the current series is doing admirably, NBA analyst Kendrick Perkins reminded the team of their choice.

As the 17th choice of the 2009 NBA Draft by the Philadelphia 76ers, Holiday made his NBA debut. He established himself as one of the best two-way players in the game throughout his 11-year tenure with the Sixers and the New Orleans Pelicans. The seasoned guard averaged 15.9 points, 3.9 rebounds, 6.4 assists, and 1.5 steals per game throughout that time.

But the Bucks front staff took a different approach in the last offseason, dealing Holiday to acquire Lillard. This was a move meant to give the Greek Freak access to a top-tier maker of shots rather than a guard with a defensive mindset. As a result, this season the former NBA champion was wearing a Boston Celtics uniform, and after the team defeated the Indiana Pacers, they made it to the Finals.

Throughout the playoffs this year, Holiday has averaging 13.5 points, 6.1 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and 1.3 steals per game. Additionally, he has produced a number of pivotal plays that have enabled Boston to defeat its rivals, the Miami Heat, Mavs, Pacers, and Cleveland Cavaliers.
