Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash has confirmed the heartbreaking death of his 25-year-old stepdaughter, Lucy-Bleu Knight, who passed

away on Friday, July 19, 2024, in Los Angeles. In a statement shared on Instagram, Slash, 58, revealed that he would be canceling four dates

of his solo S.E.R.P.E.N.T Tour to grieve the loss of Lucy-Bleu. “Lucy-Bleu Knight (December 6, 1998), beloved daughter of Meegan Hodges and Mark

Knight, stepdaughter of Samantha Somers Knight and Slash, sister of Scarlet Knight, stepsister of London and Cash Hudson, passed

away peacefully in Los Angeles,” he wrote, reflecting on her as “an incredibly talented artist, a passionate dreamer, and a charming, lovable,

sweet soul.” The cause of her death has not been disclosed, and the family has requested privacy as they mourn.

Lucy-Bleu’s mother, Meegan Hodges, also shared a tribute on her Instagram, writing simply, “I love you.” Lucy-Bleu, who had amassed

35,000 followers on Instagram, worked at Electric Lady Management, the talent management division of the famous recording studio.

Shortly after the announcement, a recent selfie of Lucy-Bleu was posted to her Instagram account with a reflective caption, expressing

regret and a desire for personal growth. Prior to the public announcement of her passing, Slash had canceled several dates of his tour, citing

“unforeseen circumstances” and assuring fans the S.E.R.P.E.N.T tour would resume in Toronto on July 28, 2024.

Messages of support and condolences have poured in from friends and fellow musicians, including Dave Grohl’s daughter, Violet, and Flea,

bassist for the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Duff McKagan’s wife, Susan, also expressed her sympathy, commenting, “Words cannot express

our deepest sympathy and condolences. Love you all so much.”
