Alabama football’s four-star linebacker commit, Luke Metz, remains steadfast in his commitment to the Crimson Tide. Metz has expressed that he does not plan on backing off his commitment to Alabama any time soon.
The Georgia Bulldogs have recently intensified their efforts to recruit Luke Metz. They extended an offer in May and hosted him for an official visit over the weekend. Despite this, it appears that Georgia is not close to flipping Metz from his commitment to Alabama.
Metz is a four-star linebacker from Georgia’s Mill Creek High School who will graduate in 2025. He is one of the few 2025 linebacker commitments made by the Crimson Tide.
“After a great visit with a great team, I am still fully committed to the University of Alabama,” Metz posted on X.
Metz committed to Alabama in March, calling it his “dream school.”
“I love it,” said Metz. “The history is amazing. The whole program just stands out to me. It’s a legacy.”
The 6-foot-3 linebacker out of Georgia is skilled at reading coverage and attacking as he weaves through traffic to get to ball carriers in the hole. The 2025 prospect seems to be playing with a flaming mane. Metz believes that his toughness and athleticism are only two of his strongest suit.
