After seven years of marriage, Miami Heat coach Erik Spoelstra and Nikki Spoelstra have finalized their divorce.
In a joint statement to the Miami Herald, they shared, “We have made the difficult but amicable choice to end our marriage. We are thankful for our time together and remain dedicated to co-parenting our children, who will continue to be our top priority. We appreciate the support we’ve received and ask for privacy as we transition to this new phase of our lives.”
The couple, married in the summer of 2016, have three children: Santiago, 5, Dante, 3, and Ruby, 1.
