Nigeria’s international Cyriel Dessers is determined to stay at Scottish Premiership club Rangers, despite rumors of a potential move.
Dessers netted 22 goals in 54 games in his debut season for the Light Blues. Despite his strong goal tally, he faced criticism from fans for missing too many chances.
Greek Super League champions PAOK have shown significant interest in the striker. Additionally, clubs from Saudi Arabia, France, and Italy are also interested.
However, Dessers has stated that his priority is to remain with Rangers. “I am very happy here, so I would like to stay,” he told Ziggo Sports Voetbal via Footballtransfers. “There is some interest, but my intention is to stay, and then we will see what happens.”
The 29-year-old was the first-choice striker for Rangers last season, playing in 54 games across all competitions.
