The Washington Commanders will have a new kicker for their upcoming game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Austin Seibert, who was listed as questionable with a hip injury on the team’s final injury report, has been downgraded to out for Sunday’s matchup. In response, the team has elevated kicker Zane Gonzalez from the practice squad to the active roster to handle the kicking duties.
The Commanders’ special teams may face further adjustments, as long snapper Tyler Ott has been added to the injury report with an illness and is now listed as questionable.
Additionally, the team made several roster moves, signing running back Chris Rodriguez from the practice squad to the 53-man roster and elevating defensive end Efe Obada. Tight end Colson Yankoff has been placed on injured reserve.
