Angel Reese is one of the most talented and important players in the WNBA and she is ready to compete, even if it is against her own teammates. There is no doubt she is one of the leaders of the Chicago Sky but some new faces will probably boost the team and elevate her level.
The front office has made very interesting moves to help them for the rest of the season, as they acquired Rachel Banham, Moriah Jefferson, a 2025 first-round pick and the right to a 2026 first-round pick swap from the Connecticut Sun for Maria Mabrey and a 2025 second-round pick and it all happened before the league-mandated break
While Reese is no stranger to competition, there is no secret that she is no stranger to being a great teammate and even if there is some healthy competition, she will do all in her power to play along with other talented basketball athletes
The rookie Angel Reese talked about her new teammates and like everyone expected, she did it in classy fashion, recognizing the talent that has arrived to the team by saying that she has gotten“lucky” after the new teammates she has.
“I’m excited for both of them,” Reese said about Branham. “They give me a lot of insight of things that they had. Not just on the court but off the court. They tell me about different programs that they’ve been in. How rookies have been treated, and they always ask me, ‘How are you being treated?’ and they said I got lucky because I luckily have great vets here
