Kaulig Racing Announces Key Personnel Changes for 2025 NASCAR Cup Series Season
Kaulig Racing revealed several personnel changes on Thursday, including new crew chief assignments for its two NASCAR Cup Series
teams. Andrew Dickeson has been appointed as crew chief for Ty Dillon and the No. 10 team. Dickeson joins Kaulig Racing from technical
partner Richard Childress Racing, where he served as an engineer. He brings a diverse racing background, including experience in the
Australian Supercars Super2 Series and in various U.S. racing circuits. Trent Owens will return to working with AJ Allmendinger, who is
making a full-time return to the Cup Series in 2025. Owens previously led the No. 31 team with Daniel Hemric during the 2024 season.
Kaulig Racing President Chris Rice expressed confidence in the new leadership lineup, stating, “I think this is the most impressive competition
leadership group we have ever had. We have such a great core team with all the men and women of Kaulig Racing, and bringing in smart
people with fresh eyes will really help us compete on the track.” In addition to the crew chief changes, Mike Cook has been appointed
as the technical director for Kaulig Racing. Cook comes from Stewart-Haas Racing, where he most recently served as a lead engineer.
Cook shared his excitement about the new role, saying, “After a decade of learning and honing my craft, I am really excited to contribute to the
continuing growth of Kaulig Racing. Nothing in racing happens overnight, but I know I have the tools and the support I need to bring immediate
impact.” He added, “Andrew has the demeanor and stability that will give Ty the best opportunity he’s had at the Cup level. AJ and
Trent are just in sync and have a great working relationship. Both drivers are hungry and dedicated, so I know that team is going to be strong and impress some people in 2025.”
