Before arriving in New Orleans, Rechsteiner explored multiple professional pathways. He signed with WWE’s NIL (Next in Line) program, an initiative designed to develop collegiate athletes into potential professional wrestlers. He also earned a workout with the Tennessee Titans, highlighting his determination to pursue opportunities at the highest level of football.
Athletic pedigree runs deep in Rechsteiner’s family. He is the son of WWE Hall of Famer Scott Steiner, famously known as “Big Poppa Pump.” His uncle, Rick Steiner, formed one half of the legendary Steiner Brothers tag team, while his cousin Bronson Rechsteiner currently competes in WWE, further underscoring the family’s longstanding presence in professional sports entertainment.
With Rechsteiner’s addition, the Saints now carry 14 wide receivers on their roster as they continue offseason preparations. Although competition for roster spots remains intense, his minicamp performance has already positioned him as a compelling prospect to watch in the months ahead.
