to his room. Earlier in the day, Payne had shared a Snapchat post, featuring a selfie with his girlfriend, Kate Cassidy, as they prepared for a

genres expressed their shock and condolences. Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood, who worked with Payne on The X Factorin the early

stages of One Direction’s career, shared a heartfelt message on X (formerly Twitter), saying, “I am shocked and saddened to hear of

the death of Liam Payne. It was a pleasure to work with him on our X Factor performance. God bless Liam, thinking of all his loved ones. He will

be dearly missed.” Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher also weighed in, tweeting, “Life is precious kids and you only get to do it ONCE go
