St Helens Women’s back-rower Paige Travis, an England star and Rugby League World Cup participant, will take on a new challenge in 2025
with NRLW’s Parramatta Eels. The Rochdale native, who has earned eight international caps, including a try-scoring performance in
England’s dominant 82-0 win over Wales in November, departs St Helens after a remarkable six-year career.
Travis was integral to St Helens’ historic treble in 2021 and their four consecutive Women’s Challenge Cup victories from 2021 to 2024,
including the historic first Women’s Challenge Cup Final at Wembley in 2023. In 65 appearances for the club, she scored 35 tries
and accumulated 140 points. Reflecting on her time at St Helens, Travis expressed deep gratitude for her experiences and the
relationships formed. She also shared her excitement about joining the Eels, citing the team’s passion and unity. Travis will be available
for selection for England’s historic match against the Australia Jillaroos in Las Vegas in March before joining the Eels’ NRLW squad in mid-2025.
