Atlanta Falcons announces shocking Injury Report

  1. The Atlanta Falcons returned to practice Wednesday after their bye week, ramping up preparations for Sunday’s home game against the Los Angeles Chargers. The team is looking to get back on track following a much-needed break. Despite the week off, the

Falcons’ injury report for the day was lengthy. A total of 14 players were listed on the injury report, including 12 who were limited in practice. Notably, outside linebacker Matthew Judon was excused for rest, and cornerback Clark Phillips III was absent due

to a personal matter. Both are not dealing with injuries. Among the more concerning injuries, wide receiver Darnell Mooney is still managing an Achilles issue that has affected his availability. Additionally, cornerbacks Dee Alford (hamstring) and Mike

Hughes (neck) continue to work their way back from injuries. The team will monitor their progress closely over the coming days. The Falcons also have four players still in concussion protocol: Kevin King, JD Bertrand, Casey Washington, and Charlie Woerner.

Their status for Sunday’s game remains uncertain, and the team will have to make adjustments depending on their availability. In a more positive update, cornerback Antonio Hamilton Sr. was a full participant in practice, recovering from a pectoral injury.

His return is a boost to the team’s secondary, which is already facing several injury challenges. Other players dealing with injuries include linebacker Troy Andersen (knee), linebacker Nate Landman (hamstring), and defensive lineman Zach Harrison

(knee/Achilles). Their participation will likely be limited, and their availability for Sunday will be determined later in the week. Wide receiver KhaDarel Hodge did not participate in practice Wednesday due to a neck injury. The Falcons will continue to evaluate his

condition as they prepare for the critical matchup against the Chargers. The team is working hard to get as healthy as possible for the game.
