Halle Berry was hospitalized in Los Angeles on Tuesday evening following an injury sustained while filming an action scene for her upcoming
movie. The actress, 45, suffered a minor head injury while performing a fight sequence on the set of The Hive.
According to her representative, Berry was taken to the hospital as a precautionary measure but was released after being evaluated. “She
checked out healthy and will continue production as planned,” her rep confirmed.
The incident occurred around 10 p.m., and Berry was transported to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center by ambulance.
This marks the latest in a series of health challenges for the Oscar-winning actress. Earlier this year, Berry broke her foot while shooting
Cloud Atlas in Spain, an injury that forced her to miss the Academy Awards. In addition to her recent physical setbacks, she has also faced a
public custody battle with ex-partner Gabriel Aubry and recently announced her engagement to Olivier Martinez.
