ESPN analyst Ben Solak has predicted that the New York Giants will part ways with quarterback Daniel Jones in 2025, citing the team’s financial
and performance-related challenges. Solak, in a recent segment, discussed the potential future of Jones, suggesting that his tenure with the
Giants may be short-lived despite the team’s current commitment to him. Solak went on to discuss possible landing spots for the 26-year-
old quarterback, ruling out the New York Jets as a viable option due to their existing quarterback situation and cap constraints. Instead, he
emphasized the Pittsburgh Steelers as the front-runners, citing their need for a long-term solution at QB and their recent interest in upgrading the position.
Additionally, Solak pointed to the Tennessee Titans and Cleveland Browns as teams to watch, noting both franchises’ potential interest in a
quarterback change depending on their respective 2024 seasons. The Titans, with an aging Ryan Tannehill, and the Browns, if they
move on from Deshaun Watson, could both be in the market for a quarterback, with Jones emerging as a possible target. As Jones’ future
with the Giants hangs in the balance, all eyes will be on how these teams position themselves for a potential acquisition in 2025.
