Steelers Release Injury Report Ahead of AFC North Showdown with Ravens

The Pittsburgh Steelers have released their injury report following Thursday’s practice as they prepare for their first AFC North matchup of the season against the Baltimore Ravens this Sunday.

Running back Jaylen Warren (back) did not participate in practice after being listed as a full participant on Wednesday. Warren played a season-high 41 snaps in last Sunday’s victory over the Washington Commanders, having previously missed Weeks 4 and 5 due to a knee injury.

In contrast, running back Najee Harris (ankle) returned to practice as a full participant after sitting out Wednesday’s session and is expected to be ready for Sunday’s game against Baltimore.

Outside linebacker Nick Herbig (hamstring) participated fully for the second consecutive day, signaling his potential return to action after missing several games. Herbig sustained the injury during Week 5 against the Dallas Cowboys and was unable to play or practice until after the Steelers’ Week 9 bye. While there were hopes he might return last week against the Commanders, he was ultimately inactive after missing Friday’s practice.

Meanwhile, outside linebacker Alex Highsmith (ankle) did not practice and is expected to be sidelined for several weeks following an injury sustained late in the fourth quarter of the Commanders game.

Wide receiver Van Jefferson (quadriceps) was listed as a non-participant on Wednesday’s report but was upgraded to limited on Thursday, indicating progress toward being available for Sunday’s game.

Cornerback Donte Jackson (hamstring) was also listed as limited after missing Wednesday’s practice, and cornerback C.J. Henderson (neck) was a new addition to the injury report as a non-participant. Tight end MyCole Pruitt (knee/rest) did not practice for a second straight day, as he continues his status as a resting veteran.

The Steelers will continue monitoring these players as they finalize their preparations for the pivotal divisional showdown at Acrisure Stadium.
