LeBron James was named MVP of the 2024 Olympic Games after leading Team USA to their fifth consecutive gold medal with a 98-87 victory over host France. In the gold medal game, James posted 14 points, 6 rebounds, 10 assists, and 2 steals. He averaged 17.0 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 10.2 assists throughout the tournament, earning his third Olympic gold. Notably, James also recorded a triple-double in a thrilling semifinal win over Serbia.

Alongside James, the All-Star Five included Stephen Curry (USA), Victor Wembanyama (France), Nikola Jokic (Serbia), and Dennis Schroder (Germany). Curry impressed with 36 points in the semifinals and 24 in the final, while Wembanyama shone with 19 points and 11.6 rebounds per game. Jokic delivered a triple-double in the bronze medal game, and Schroder led Germany with 17.2 points and 7.5 assists.

Other notable awards included Wembanyama winning the Rising Star Award, Aleksa Avramovic (Serbia) being named best defender, and Vincent Collet (France) earning Coach of the Tournament honors. The second All-Tournament team featured Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (Canada), Bogdan Bogdanovic (Serbia), Franz Wagner (Germany), Guerschon Yabusele (France), and Giannis Antetokounmpo (Greece).
