Aston Villa and Chelsea finalizes £40m trade agreement for villa’s star Forward

According to reports, Aston Villa is “concretely” interested in highly-rated striker Maximilian Beier as they get set to compete in a transfer window that might have a significant impact on Jhon Duran’s future.

Unai Emery wants to improve his team, and there have been rumors in the first few weeks of the transfer market that imply Villa’s goal-scoring unit may see some changes. Although this has been mostly fueled by exit rumors thus far, there are now rumors that the club wants to sign an intriguing player before the season begins.

According to Sky Germany, information on the viability of deal has been accumulated over the past several days, indicating that interest in TSG Hoffenheim striker Beier has been developed. The 21-year-old has been connected to major move for while now, particularly given that he has over 100 senior club appearances under his belt with 33 goals and 11 assists.

He is rumored to have a €30 million (£25.3 million) release clause that will only be activated during the summer transfer window of 2024. In addition, any buying club would be responsible for paying signing bonuses and wages. Recently, the striker—who plays for the German national team—replied when asked about his future: “We can chat after the Euros.”

Given who they would be competing against, Villa’s attempt to sign one of the most highly-regarded attacking prospects on the continent may turn out to be one of the more intriguing matches of the summer.

Although Beier has been linked to numerous Premier League teams both this year and last, Chelsea and Villa are now thought to have the strongest interest. The German was just mentioned yesterday as a possible replacement for Duran in new manager Enzo Maresca’s forward recruitment campaign.

The Blues had already expressed their interest in the Villa forward for £40 million before letting it simmer. According to reports, the situation did not completely die, but it was put on hold while they conducted due diligence on a number of targets throughout Europe. Thus, Villa might find themselves limiting the striker choices available to their opponents and bringing Duran even closer to that Stamford Bridge if they were to become interested in a deal for Beier.
