Milwaukee Bucks officially materialize trade for Oklahoma City Thunder Role Player

Two NBA teams with divergent trends are the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Milwaukee Bucks. Milwaukee, an older NBA franchise, is attempting to make roster improvements and add youth in the offseason. Oklahoma City, one of the NBA’s newest teams, plans to bolster their squad with a few veterans this offseason.

Long-term building around Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard is what general manager of the Bucks Jon Horst wants to do. They acquired Lillard through a three-team trade with the Portland Trail Blazers and the Phoenix Suns during the previous offseason.

Aaron Wiggins Could Be Included In A Trade Between The Milwaukee Bucks And Oklahoma City Thunder This Offseason

One of the seven possible trade sleepers this offseason that the Bucks should target is the one highlighted by Behindthebuckpass.com writer Tyler Watts. He listed a few names, Aaron Wiggins of Thunder among them. Regarding the Milwaukee Bucks’ possible pursuit of Wiggins, Watts stated:

“The pick in the second round of the 2021 NBA Draft is developing into a valuable player on both sides of the court. Throughout his three NBA seasons, his playing time has declined annually, but Oklahoma City has an abundance of talent. Although Wiggins may not be a long-term Thunder player, the 6’6 wing might be the ideal sleeper pick.

In his third year, Wiggins shot 49.2 percent from three-point range and 56.2 percent from the field while averaging 6.9 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 1.1 assists in 15.7 minutes per game. In the postseason, he held onto his role and, given the right circumstances, may grow it.

It’s difficult to find a top shooting wing whose defensive influence keeps getting better. At just 25, Wiggins is expected to earn less than $2 million in the 2024–2025 campaign before entering free agency the following summer.
