In an announcement that has rocked both the rock and pop music worlds, legendary Boston-based rock band Ash Harborhas revealed the surprise guest on their upcoming, highly anticipated album “Static Saints”—none other than global icon Beyoncé.
The collaboration, which has been kept under wraps for nearly a year, features Queen Bey lending her vocals to the hauntingly powerful track “Glass Cathedral,” a genre-bending anthem fusing Ash Harbor’s gritty alt-rock roots with Beyoncé’s signature vocal dynamism.
Frontman Jake Calder said in a statement: “We grew up on Zeppelin and Nirvana—but working with Beyoncé opened up a whole new side of our sound. She didn’t just feature—she transformed the track.”
Industry insiders say the track is “unlike anything fans have heard before,” blending distorted guitar riffs with gospel undertones, cinematic orchestration, and Beyoncé’s earth-shaking harmonies.
The album drops May 17, and pre-orders are already crashing the band’s website. If the rumors of a surprise joint performance at Boston Calling are true, fans may want to start camping out—now.
Stay tuned. This one’s going to echo.
